It's original designs like this below that make me so happy to be a creative director. I love my career very much. I thought this was fitting for today's inspiration, as I received a wedding invite in the mail this morning and it too was a completely original design.

So happy to see couples thinking "outside the box". I always encourage my clients to work with an actual graphic designer, in person, locally. Rather then using an online program, and hoping it comes out the way you designed. Working with a local artist saves you so much time and they will run ya about 40-60% less in total costs then an online retailer.

Luxe Find :: Garden Inspired Table Design

First thing that got me in this image was the tent. Custom and memorable, this print is fabulous. Tents like this are not cheap, however with a tent like this who needs much more decor?
Take cue from this garden inspired design and keep it fresh and romantic. Couple assorted floral printed pillows with colored depression glass and garden roses and you've got an event design fit for the sweetest of tea and the most romantic of souls....

Tandem bikes...I think it's safe to say they are making a come back thanks to wedding photographers. If I was a bike builder I would be making "wedding tandems" in an array of colors just to market to brides, grooms and photographers. Rent a wedding tandem! Luxe Find :: Tropical Real Wedding

I was first looking for cocktails to share...then I some and they were attached to this beauty of a beach wedding. This scene was set at the One&Only Ocean Club, oneandonlyresorts.com, in the Bahamas. Custom tags with a formal font still pull in that classic "wedding" feel while a simple dessert, a petite cheesecake served with crème fraîche, fresh berries and mint keeps the entire design fresh and approachable.

I was totally not the "beachy" wedding gal but the more I see designs like this the more I think if I was ever to get to to it all over again and again I would travel somewhere serene with sugar sands like in this inspiration below. The crisp white with the tones of passionate fuchsia really do make this day time event chic and posh. Orchids really are used well in this design. They are such a hearty flower and are perfect for sunny summery beach heat. I found this on Brides.com, it was beautifully crafted by Designer Nico De Swert.

A little back story on Nico: Belgium-born expert designer Nico De Swert is fast becoming one of the most sought-after creative talents in the world of floral artistry.

I'm a sucker for a traditional wedding and a classic bride.

Megan was just that...a traditional "southern" bride. Timeless design and traditional southern style...I actually came across this event on Classic Bride {Just another great bridal resource we love!}
From the Bride:: Our personal planned touch would be our now 3 year old yellow-lab. She's such a huge part of our lives, our wedding would not have been the same had she not made her way down the aisle ... which she decided to do twice.. =)Grilled cheese and tomato soup...a little modern twist to a classic treat...
A little advice from the Bride, as shared on Classic Bride:: This is your wedding day - remember this and keep everything else in perspective!! During the months of wedding planning, I heard from so many different brides how stressful their wedding day was, about the breakdowns they had leading up to the wedding, or how glad they were once it was all over. I am happy to say that with the help of my three wonderful sisters and mom - I truly enjoyed planning our wedding. There was not one moment of our wedding day that I didn't feel complete happiness. Palmetto Bluff's service is truly unparalleled! I woke up the next morning and the first thing I thought was 'I hope every bride feels this way the day after her wedding!' So I was on Green Wedding Shoes the other day and came across these cute necklaces and hair pieces that were DIY. A little accent color goes a long way! What a amazing idea, so cost effective.

Heres how they were made...

From Green Wedding Shoes :: My cousin and I went out and bought a handful of odds and ends: charms, pearls, chains, elastic, feathers and flowers…….as well as a few “base necklaces” from forever 21. She hand made silk roses and coffee stained tattered tool to add as needed. After much thought on what to create with all this “goodness”, we decided on 3 necklaces, 2 bracelets, and two flower hairpieces. A little something different for each girl.
